DOCKAGE

Harbor Island Marina is located right on Solomons Island and it is the first marina that you will see as you are entering Solomons harbor aboard your boat.  The marina will be on your port side only a few hundred feet after you enter the harbor and is well marked with signage.  Dockage is available on the 250 foot-long main dock, along the T-heads of several of the other piers and in various slips as well.  When approaching the marina by boat, Harbor Island's fuel dock will be readily visible once you have passed Harbor Island's twin T-piers.  Water and electricity (30 Amp and 50 Amp shore power) are available to all transient slips.  All are deep water slips and the main dock is 12 feet deep alongside, with a 20 foot approach depth.  Tidal current is virtually nonexistent in Solomons and there is about 1-1/2' to 2' of tidal variance on a typical day.  Hail the dock master on VHF radio channel 16 or pull up to the main dock and check in for slip assignment at the dock house.
